Episodes 1 & 2 set the stage for the rest of the series. The two biggest biological factors in regard to healthy aging are the mitochondria within our cells and the organisms that live within our body.

The first two episode will share deep cutting-edge research and information to demonstrate the importance of these two factors, the connection and communication between our mitochondria and the microbiome, and how dysfunction and/or imbalance here contributes to chronic disease and early aging.

Important: The first two episodes are quite science heavy. Depending on your preference, you’ll either want to learn a little to set the stage for the rest of the episodes and when done we are able to guide and advise “what to do about it” thereafter.

Episodes 3-7 will explore the lifestyle factors which have the most significant impact on our overall health and ability to live healthy, happy, disease-free lives well into advanced age. Topics include food & diet, movement, environmental toxicity (including EMF), connection to (or isolation from) nature, light & circadian rhythms, sleep habits, pregnancy, childbirth, childhood trauma, community, purpose, spirituality, and much more!

These factors will be explored by using a scientific lens to observe the world’s healthiest populations. What do they do differently? What does the scientific research and evidence have to say? What can we learn from this – and how can we apply this knowledge in today’s modern world?

Episode 8 is going to take a deeper dive into the current epidemic of chronic diseases of degeneration, such as cancer and neurological diseases, such as Alzheimer’s. What are we doing (or not doing) that is contributing to the unprecedented level of preventable, lifestyle-driven disease in the western world – and what can be done about it?

Standout – The Pill and Mate Selection

Dr. Jolene Brighten shares how women, when looking for a mate, would naturally choose a man that was genetically opposite to them. Studies show when the same women are put on the pill they would choose a man that was genetically comparable to their cousin.

Episode 9 will take a look at the future of medicine, where we go from here, some modern “hacks” people can use to stay on top of their health in today’s modern society. We feel the audience will finish the series educated, possessing the tools needed to make changes in their own life, and inspired to share this life-changing information with their own friends, family, and community!
