Our approach

Infinite Risk CC maintains a complaints-management process for complaints relating to its financial services and related activities. A complaint is handled separately from an ordinary website enquiry. The public enquiry form should not be used to send sensitive supporting documents.

02

How to complain

Send a written complaint to regnr8-fin@infiniterisk.com with the subject line 'Formal Complaint'. Include your name and contact details, a concise description of what happened, the service concerned, relevant dates, the outcome you seek, and the reference number if one exists. Do not include passwords, PINs or unnecessary banking credentials.

03

What happens next

The complaint will be recorded, assessed and routed to the responsible person or function. Infinite Risk will communicate with you about the complaint and, where applicable, manage it under the FSP's complaints-management framework and the General Code of Conduct. Complex or regulated complaints may require additional information or professional review.

04

External escalation - FAIS Ombud

If a complaint falls within the jurisdiction of the FAIS Ombud, a complainant must first try to resolve it with the responding party. The FAIS Ombud currently states that the responding party has six weeks to resolve the complaint and that, after receipt of the responding party's final response, the complainant has six months within which to submit the complaint to the Ombud. Before relying on a deadline, confirm the current Ombud rules and the facts of the complaint.

05

FAIS Ombud contact

Office of the Ombud for Financial Services Providers (FAIS Ombud). Telephone: 012 762 5000. Email: info@faisombud.co.za. Website: www.faisombud.co.za.

Privacy complaints

A privacy complaint may also be raised with Infinite Risk's Information Officer through regnr8-fin@infiniterisk.com. A data subject may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator using the Regulator's current published channels.

Important
